Show moreas an Advocate on 10.02.1981 and thereafter, the undersigned started practicing and dealt in all spheres of Civil and Criminal Laws at District Courts level at Punjab and Delhi as well as Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. During the said tenure, he has served as the Legal Advisor to the Maharaja of Faridkot (Punjab) and conducted cases pertaining to his Estate/Provinces. In 1991, he joined as an Advocate in the office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Swatanter Kumar, Former Justice of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Chairman of National Green Tribunal, New Delhi. In the year 1996, he was empaneled as Addl. Public Counsel for Government of NCT of Delhi. In May 2000, he has joined the Delhi Higher Judicial Services and served as Additional District & Sessions Judge at Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi. On 22.01.2005 he was appointed as Joint Registrar, Hon’ble High Court of Delhi and on 12.09.2007 assigned the post of Special Judge, NDPS thereafter on 03.03.2009 as Special Judge, CBI and on 07.04.2011 as Presiding Officer, Motor Accident Claim Tribunal (MACT). On 06.02.2014, he was appointed as Principal Judge, Family Court, New Delhi and on 20.01.2015, he was promoted as District & Sessions Judge, New Delhi and retired on superannuation on 30.04.2017 from the post of District & Sessions Judge, Delhi. On 03.08.2018, he was appointed a Judicial Member of Central Administrative Tribunal at Allahabad Bench. He had also served as Sole Arbitrator in Delhi International Arbitration Centre, at Delhi High Court, New Delhi. His entire service was dedicated to be Indian Judicial System at various levels.

He was throughout a meritorious student and was awarded number of Merit Certificates for securing highest position. He joined Delhi Judicial Service in the year 1985 and worked on both Civil and Criminal sides. He was promoted to the Delhi Higher Judicial Service in the year 2000 and worked as Additional District & Sessions Judge in several capacities on original and appellate jurisdiction. He presided over special courts, like Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Labour Court, Matrimonial Court, and Special Court under the Electricity Act. He has imparted training to the newly recruited Judicial Officers of Delhi Judicial Service, Delhi Higher Judicial Service and of other States. He has attended various national and international seminars and conferences. During his tenure, he was appointed Chairman/Member of various committees like Vigilance Committee, Building Maintenance Committee, Purchase Committee Departmental Promotion Committee etc. He was appointed as Controlling Officer (Accounts) and worked as First Appellate Authority of East District under RTI Act. He also worked as Chairman of National Lok Adalat organized by Delhi Legal Aid Services Authority. He was a trained Judicial Mediator. He has authored three books viz; (i) Cognizance of Offences by Criminal Courts (2013), (ii) Hindu Law of Marriage and Divorce and (iii) MCQ for Delhi Judicial Services Examination.
